1Our commitment

WILDFRONT respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2Responsible party and Information Officer

The responsible party is Saligna (Registration Number 2010/053093/23), trading as WILDFRONT, of 35 Main Street, Heatherdale AH, Akasia, 0118, South Africa. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18, and we do not collect special personal information such as health, religious or biometric data.

6Cross-border transfers

Some of our service providers host data outside South Africa. Where that happens, we transfer information only in line with section 72 of POPIA — that is, to a country or provider with comparable protection, or under contractual safeguards, or with your consent.

7How long we keep it

After these periods we delete or de-identify the information.

8How we protect it

We use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls limiting staff access to what each person needs, reputable hosting and payment providers, and regular review of our systems. No online system is completely secure, but if a breach occurs that creates a risk to you, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by section 22 of POPIA.

9Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email the Information Officer. We will respond within a reasonable period and may ask you to verify your identity first. A prescribed fee may apply to a formal access request under the Promotion of Access to Information Act.

10Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site and your cart working, and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but essential cookies are needed for checkout to work.

11Marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in or who are existing customers, in line with section 45 of ECTA and section 11 of the CPA. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribes promptly.
